Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has extended his contract with AC Milan until 2011, the Serie A side announced on their official website on Thursday. The 27-year-old's deal was due to expire in 2008 but he opted to put pen-to-paper on a three-year contract extension. Pirlo joined Milan from arch-rivals Inter in 200, where he established himself as a key player for the Rossonerri, winning the Serie A title, Italian Cup and the UEFA Champions League. Earlier this week, Milan's Georgian defender Kakha Kaladze committed his future to the club after extending his contract to 2011.
