Things seem to be heading in the wrong direction for AC Milan after the club announced that midfielder Andrea Pirlo will be out for as long as one month due to injury. The Rossoneri are having their worst Serie A start since 1989 after losing their first two league games at home to Bologna and away to Genoa. Pirlo's injury couldn't have come in a worse timing asrious doubts loom over the team's form. "Pirlo has a torn muscle in his right thigh and will undergo further tests on Monday," read a statement on the club's official website on Tuesday. Milan will have to do without the Italian international when they face FC Zurich in their UEFA Cup opener on Thursday. The injury comes just one day after Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti escaped the sack and was given another confidence vote following an emergency board meeting.
