Alexandria-Hani Al-Awadi: Ittihad Alexandria's Serbian coach Slobodan 'Bob' Pavkovic refused the prospect of postponing his team's match against Tersana in the Egyptian league. Tersana had asked that the game, which is scheduled for Friday, to be postponed following the death of two of their players in a car accident last week. The Egyptian Football Association had agreed to Tersana's request but said that Ittihad had to approve. "There is no reason the game shouldn't be played according to schedule," Bob told reporters in Alexandria. "The Egyptian national team played two days after the death of (Ahli defender Mohamed) Abdul-Wahab," he added. Tersana players Ahmed Wahid and Rami Gomaa had died in a car accident last week.
