Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' said that Italian side Roma intend to keep him at the Olimpico after they turned down two offers for his services. "I know that Roma have two or three offers for me. It is good money and the club needs money at the moment to buy other players," Mido told Sky Sports News on Friday. "But at the moment the manager and the board said I am not on the transfer list and that I cannot leave." Mido impressed during his 18-month loan spell with Tottenham but the English side opted not to sign him on a permanent basis. "I enjoyed my time at Tottenham, I made a lot of friends and if the day came for me to go back I would be very proud," the former Ajax striker said. Blackburn Rovers were favorites to land the Egyptian international but they turned their attention elsewhere after failing to agree a deal with Roma. Roma wanted to part ways with Mido following his return from Tottenham, but the team's coach Luciano Spalletti seems to have changed his mind after the 23-year-old made an admirable performance in the Italian club's friendly games.
