Roma coach Luciano Spalletti said he is not interested in signing any striker because he has host of players at his disposal including Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido'. The former Udinese boss ruled out a move for Lecce striker Mirko Vucinic, after reports linked him to Roma. "Vucinic's transfer would not be useful for the team. It would be useless," Spalletti was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia magazine on Friday. "I don't see the sense in buying another striker. We already have Vincenzo Montella, Francesco Totti, Ahmed Mido, Stefano Okaka and Shabani Nonda, so another name would just be too much." Mido returned to Roma after an 18-month loan spell with English side Tottenham, where he produced an impressive display. Roma wanted to part ways with Mido following his return, but Spalletti seems to have changed his mind after the 23-year-old made an admirable performance in the Italian club's friendly games.
