Port Said – Badr Al-Din Hassan: Masri president Sayed Metwalli said that the club is looking to hire a foreign coach following Mohamed Salah's sudden resignation just before the start of the new season. Metwalli insisted that despite Helmi Toulan's earlier claims that he refused to succeed Salah as Masri coach, it was the club who refused to appoint him after disagreeing contract terms with the former Hodoud coach. "The club decided against hiring Toulan due to the high salary he asked for as well as the tough conditions he wanted to impose on the board," Metwalli told FilGoal.com on Thursday. The Masri president revealed that Toulan wanted to bring on a new assisting staff, something which would be totally unaccepted from the Masri fans who always demand a local Port Said coaching staff. Metwalli said that a new foreign club coach will be revealed within the next week to lead the team in their new season campaign. Masri will kick off their Egyptian League campaign with an away clash against Ismaili on Friday.
