Four new clubs enter Calciopoli frame

Four more Italian Serie A teams have been dragged into the match fixing and sports fraud scandal that hit Italian football.
Reggina, Messina, Siena and Lecce's names have all been mentioned as part of the ongoing investigations around the scandal that already saw the Italian court sentence Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio with relegation to Serie B plus points deductions.
"I wouldn't call it a second wave of investigations, my team are taking the same investigation further," head of investigations team Saverio Borelli was quoted as saying by CalcioItallia magazine on Thursday.
Borelli's team are currently investigating over 300 suspected phone calls, with Reggina the most suspicious side after calls between president Pasquale Foti and ex-Juventus general director were discovered.
Messina and Siena are also facing questions about their strong ties with Moggi – who was found guilty by the court – as Siena played last season with six loaned Juventus players at the club.
Meanwhile, former Lecce boss Zdenek Zeman increased speculations about his former employers, saying that he was mystified with his player's 3-3 draw performance against Parma in 2005, a result that secured Parma a relegation play-off match which eventually saved them from Serie B relegation.
