Zamalek are set to extend the contract of coach Manuel Cajuda for one more year, the Cairo club said. The terms of the new deal will be announced later on Tuesday, a club source, who doesn't want to be named, told FilGoal.com. The Portuguese manager took over as Zamalek coach in January on a six-month contract with an option to extend for a more year. Cajuda said in May that he won't stay with Zamalek citing administrative problems but he reportedly made a U-turn after long talks with the board of directors. He has yet to comment on these reports. Zamalek finished the domestic season in second place behind Ahli and their bid to clinch the Egyptian Cup title ended in the final after losing to their arch-rivals. But Zamalek hold on to Cajuda as he succeeded in restoring a bit of the team's good form after two poor seasons during which the club failed to win a single trophy.
