France striker David Trezeguet has nominated Spain as favourites to win the World Cup alongside Argentina and Germany. "From what I've seen Spain are one of three candidates who could win the World Cup along with Germany and Argentina," Trezeguet was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Saturday. The Juventus forward will have the chance to debunk his own nomination when France take on Spain the World Cup second-round match that will take place on Tuesday in Hanover. The French barely made it through to the last 16 after beating Togo 2-0 on Friday and Trezeguet has insisted that they were only getting started. "We've qualified for the last 16. Maybe we didn't do it as we would have liked, but we have improved from the first match to our third.” "That's a positive for us and now we're looking forward to the next round," Trezeguet said.
