Al-Anbar out of Saudi squad through injury

Saleh Bashir will replace injured striker Mohammed Al Anbar in Saudi Arabia's World Cup squad, the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) confirmed on Wednesday.
Saudi Arabia was granted permission by FIFA to call up the Ittifaq forward, who will join the squad in Germany promptly.
Saudi Arabia kick-off their 2006 World Cup campaign by facing Arab counterparts Tunisia in Group H action on Wednesday.
Al Anbar, nicknamed the "Ronaldinho of Arabia", picked up a serious ankle injury during Saudi Arabia's final training session on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Hilal star twisted his ankle under no pressure during practice and was taken to a nearby hospital for further medical examination.
