Zamalek club made an official bid on Thursday to sign defender Mohamed Abdul-Wahab from UAE side Al-Zafra. Zamalek sent an official fax to Al-Zafra with a bid worth 450,000 euros (EGP 3.3 million) for the services of the Egypt international winger. Abdul-Wahab is nearing the end of a two-year loan to Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli. The 23-year-old played a pivotal role in Ahli's run to their second consecutive Egyptian league title this season.
