Egyptian internationals Mohamed Shawki and Osama Hosni were left out of Ahli squad preparing for Aluminum game in the Egyptian League on Friday, the club said. Ahli head coach Manuel Jose opted to give them more rest despite being given the all-clear from the club's medical staff. "Jose preferred not to rush Hosni and Shawki into action to avoid renewing their injuries," a club source told FilGoal.com. Midfielder Shawki and striker Hosni were sidelined recently due to different injuries and were expected to make their comeback on Friday's game. Ahli are placed second in the domestic standings on 41 points, just one point behind leaders Zamalek, but still have two matches in hand.
