Egypt midfielder Ahmed Hassan helped his Turkish side Besiktas to a 2-2 draw against Fenerbahce in the Superlig on Sunday. Sanli Tuncay put the Turkish champions ahead in the 58th minute before a double from Sergi Yalcin shifted the match in favor of Besiktas. Marcelo Nobre grabbed the equalizer for Fenerbahce in the 76th minute. The result increased Fenerbahce's tally to 53 points in first place and tightened Besiktas' grip on fourth place with 33 points. Hassan, the best player in the African Cup of Nations, played a role in the team's two goals. Nine minutes after Fener took the lead Besiktas launched an attack that saw Hassan fire a powerful drive that was fumbled by the goalkeeper only for Yalcin to pounce and score on the rebound. In the 72nd minute, Yalcin controlled Hassan's cross to nod the ball into the empty net. Besiktas' lead was short lived as Nobre netted the equalizer only four minutes later.
