Ahmed Hassan dished out an assist in Besiktas' 3-1 away win over Gaziantepspor in the first-leg of the Turkish Cup semi-finals on Wednesday. Former Besiktas player Veysel Cihan put the home side ahead as early as the 16th minute before Hassan set-up the equalizer for Tumer Metin after the break. A double from Rogerio Da Silva 'Bobo' in the 64th and 75th minutes sealed the win for Besiktas and put them on the door step of the final ahead of the return leg at home. The winner will face the victor from the other semi-final between Fenerbahce and Denizlispor. Hassan played a pivotal role in Besiktas' win and did well playing in two positions in midfield. The Egypt international orchestrated his side's first goal with a brilliant solo effort that saw him thread his way down the right flank before sending an inch-perfect cross to Tumer who executed a dazzling drive home. Besiktas took advantage of the bewildered Gaziantepspor defense to register their second and third goals through Bobo and secure the precious win.
