International midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treaka scored two goals and Egypt teammate Mohamed Abdul-Wahab added another as Ahli crushed Koroum 3-0 in their local league match on Saturday. The victory tightened Ahli's grip on the league summit with 33 points to extend their winning run to 11 consecutive games, and lead second-place Enppi with six points. Koroum remained in the basement of the table with only 11 points from the same number of matches. Abdul-Wahab opened the score line in the seventh minute when he unleashed a long-range drive into the bottom left corner of the net.

In other matches, Suez Cement beat Arab Contractors 2-0, Armed Forces edged Ismaili 1-0, Aluminum held Ghazl Mahalla to a goalless draw. Zamalek will travel to Alexandria on Sunday to play Ittihad in the Egyptian League.
