Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) president Hammouda Ben Ammar announced that Sfaxien defender Amir Al-Hajj Massoud was called up to the team after French club Saint Etienne refused to release Alaeddine Yahia. The Carthage Eagles boss Roger Lemerre decided to call Massoud to feature in the team's African Cup of Nations (ACN) campaign after Saint Etienne refused to allow Yahia to join his compatriots, Ben Ammar told reporters on Saturday. The Sfaxien full-back will be ready to feature in Tunisia's coming match against Zambia that will take place on Sunday in the Harras Al-Hodoud Stadium in Alexandria. Lemerre had also called Yahia after Dutch club Feyenoord's Karim Saidi picked up an injury and was ruled out.
