Juventus manager Fabio Capello praised Chievo for their cutting edge approach after they held the Italian champions to a 1-1 draw in the Serie A on Wednesday. "We found a determined Chievo, capable of making the most of the occasions they had," Capello was quoted as saying by Juventus' official website after the match. "They're in a good shape and their players know each other perfectly, they're difficult to play against especially when they play at home," he added. Juventus had their lead on the top of Serie A table narrowed to eight points after a 1-1 away draw with Chievo. Patrick Vieira's goal in the 30th minute cancelled out Daniele Franceschini's opener in the 21st minute, a result that put Inter Milan, who beat Treviso 1-0, in second place with 45 points, eight behind leaders Juventus. "I would have preferred to win to celebrate the anniversary. Anyway, we must pay the due tribute to our opponents: Chievo are well coached and those who have put the squad together deserve our praises," Capello said. The former Roma manager conceded that his side failed to capitalize on their goal scoring opportunities through out the encounter. "We created more chances but we couldn't make the most of them," he said.
