Equatorial Guinea have been named hosts of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations instead of Morocco, CAF announced. Initial hosts Morocco have been stripped of hosting the January finals after failing to confirm they will stage the tournament The North African nation opted not to be hosts due to fears of the Ebola virus outbreak in Africa. CAF confirmed on Friday that after "fraternal and fruitful discussions, the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea has agreed to host the tournament from January 17 to February 8, 2015.
