Ahli are looking for a venue to host their CAF Champions League game against Tanzania's Young Africans after authorities refused holding matches in Cairo. The African champions confirmed on their website that Egyptian authorities will not allow any continental game to be held in the capital city as a result of recent clashes between security and fans. The tension started when Ahli's Ultras Ahlawy clashed with local police ahead of the Super Cup game against Sfaxien, ten days after Zamalek's White Knights were also involved in a similar altercation in the win over Kabuscorp of Angola. Ahli, who trail 1-0 from the first leg, said their board is trying to reach an agreement to stage the game at a venue in the city of Alexandria. The Reds are most likely to play behind closed doors after the Egyptian FA had announced that authorities intend to impose crowd bans on all football matches as well. Fans' attendance to matches has been a critical case in Egypt ever since the disastrous Port-Said incident that took place in February 2012.
