Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Spain and England have booked their 2014 World Cup places on the final day of the European qualifying group stage. For the first time ever, Bosnia earned their place in the finals with a hard-fought 1-0 win in Lithuania, thanks to a Vedad Ibisevic goal. The Bosnians won Group G on goal difference after leveling on points with Greece. England wrapped up Group H with a 2-0 victory over Poland, with goals from Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard. Defending champions Spain needed a final-day victory over Georgia, courtesy of goals by Alvaro Negredo and Juan Mata. Russia were the fourth team of the night to make the Brazil finals, following a a1-1 draw in Azerbaijan.
