Egypt's domestic league will kick off after the national team's World Cup qualifying campaign in November, according to an FA official. "The new season will start after Egypt's World Cup qualifiers," FA executive director Tharwat Soweilam told FilGoal.com. Africa's final qualifying phase will be concluded on November 19, after which five nations will go through to the World Cup. The Egyptian football governing body had already announced the new league system,which is to involve 22 clubs divided among two groups. Bob Bradley's Egypt, who meet Guinea in a World Cup qualifier to spare on September 10, have already made it to the playoff round, with the draw scheduled for 16th of the same month. The playoff will see 10 teams play the qualifiers' final phase on a two-legged tie.
