Zamalek have been boosted by the news that Ahmed Eid will be fit for the CAF Champions League clash against Orlando Pirates, the club said on their website. After sustaining a knee injury in training two days ago, the Egypt international trained with his teammates on Tuesday morning ahead of the trip to South Africa. Eid, 33, is set to be deployed as a lone striker after Ahmed Gaafar was ruled out of the Group A tie through suspension. Meanwhile, wing-back Hazem Emam has also been declared fit after picking up a minor injury last week. Zamalek need a win to keep their chances of qualifying through the group alive, following a draw and a defeat in their opening two games.
