Ahli to release just three Egypt players
Published in FilGoal on 07 - 08 - 2013

Ahli called on the Egyptian FA to allow only three international players, including Ahmed Fathi and Hossam Ashour, join the Egypt squad for the friendly with Uganda.
Ahli clash with Congo's Leopards away from home on August 16/17/18, while Egypt play Uganda at Gouna Stadium on the 14th; the same day which will see the Reds fly to Dolisie.
As Fathi and Ashour are suspended for the away tie, Ahli said they would only allow the duo, along with unregistered goalkeeper Mosaad Awad leave for international duty.
The holders are now languishing at the bottom of the Champions League Group A on a single point following their shock 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Orlando Pirates.
Meanwhile, Zamalek also seem reluctant to release their internationals as they clash with Pirates in South Africa on August 17.
