Hossam Al-Badri implied that his days as Ahli manager are numbered, amid claims from Libya's Ahli that he is heading to Tripoli. After leading his team to the Champions League group stage, Al-Badri admitted that he could be leaving Ahli for ‘personal reasons not related to his contract'. The manager's comments were followed by a claim from Ahli Tripoli chairman Sassy Buaon that Al-Badri will take charge of the Libyan side starting next month. Subsequently, Ahli seem to know little about Al-Badri's plans as a meeting should take place this week. “Al-Badri's comments look unclear to us," Ahli football committee member Hadi Khashaba told FilGoal.com after Sunday's 2-1 victory over Bizertin of Tunisia. “Honestly we know nothing about his future with Ahli. The board will meet with him on Monday to settle everything." Al-Badri has been in charge of Ahli since May 2012, guiding the club to the CAF Champions League title last season.
