Ismaili will once again be without Essam el-Hadari when they face Tamponnaise of Reunion in the CAF Champions League on Sunday. "El-Hadari asked to be dropped because he wants to be with his family, after the recent fire in their flat," Ismaili's director Ihab Galal told FilGoal.com on Tuesday. El-Hadari's apartment was almost destroyed due to an electric fire at the weekend, but thankfully no-one was hurt, even though his wife and son were inside at the time. The 37-year-older has been anything but settled at Ismaili in recent weeks due to a series of financial disputes. He was expected to make the squad for Monday's league game at Military Production, but Mohamed Sobhi retained his place between the sticks. Ismaili, who have a 3-1 first-leg lead against Tamponnaise, are favourites to reach the round of 16.
