Egyptian authorities announced on Wednesday that the Rafah crossing will remain open until Thursday, as Palestinians travel through the Gaza-Egypt border for the third consecutive day after a two-month closure. However, the crossings committee said individuals would be able to travel through the crossing until Friday. The committee added that visa holders and Gaza residents will be allowed to transit the crossing on Thursday, while on the following day, international passport holders will be permitted travel. On Wednesday, patients, foreign nationals and visa holders will be permitted transit through Rafah. Meanwhile, the crossings committee said 933 travellers left the Gaza Strip, while 202 residents entered on Tuesday.
