Mubarak attends Army ceremony

PRESIDENT Honsi Mubarak Sunday attended a military parade in the coastal city of Suez to mark the Excellence Day of the Third Field Army Corps, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
Upon his arrival, the President was received by Minister of Defence and Military Production Mohamed Hussein Tantawi and Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Marshal Sami Anan.
The parade included some displays of Egyptian military power in different eras including during the October 6 War against Israel, MENA said.
It added that the parade also illustrated the Armed Forces contributions in helping develop society.
