CAIRO - Delegations representing the Arab League, together with a number of global figures, arrived on Tuesday to follow the Egyptian presidential polls scheduled to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, the offcial Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. Two Sudanese observers and other three Iraqis have already arrived in Cairo, in addition to a professor at Yoshida Institute in Japan, according to official sources at the Higher Presidential Elections Commission , who received the foreign observers at the VIP Hall, Cairo International Airport. The sources added that the foreign observers would follow all activities related to running the polls, the electoral campaigning and voting procedures as well as the vote-counting process . They will also hold meetings with representatives of the political parties and NGOs.
