Fi youm el-mattara, A rainy day

Ali wa ekhwaatuh Hassan, wa Samir, wa Khalid qaadeen fi ghorfaat el-goloos. Homa mish qadreen yokhrogo ashaan kan feih mattara gamda gidan. Homa bietnaqshoo yeemilouh eih. Ali and his brothers Hassan, Samir and Khalid are sitting in the living room. They can't go out due to heavy rains.
They are discussing how to spend the day.
Ali: Eih raikom nelaab kotshina?
Ali: What do you think about playing cards?
Ekhwaat fi sout wahed: Laa.
The three brothers in unison: No
Ali: Tayyeb, tehibou teemelou ayeh?
Ali: All right, what would you like to do?
Hassan: Ana awez atfarag alla el-television.
Hassan: I want watch TV.
Ali: Fikra kuwaisa ya Hassan.
Ali: That's a good idea, Hassan.
Samir: Laa, ana awez azaker arabi, we tareekh.
Samir: No, I want to study Arabic and history.
Ali: Fikra helwa awi ya Samir.
Ali: That's a sweet idea, Samir.
Khalid: Laa, an awez akol, wei ashrab shai, wei baadin anaam.
Khalid: No, I want to eat, drink tea and then sleep.
Ali: Di fikra azema ya Khalid, eih rayokum?
Ali: That's a great idea,
Khalid. What do you think about it?
Al-Ekhwaat: Waallhi, di ahassan fikra. Yallah nottlob akl min el-mattaam, wei baadin, neemil shai, wei baadin nodkhol ne naam leghaiyet el-mattarah ma toquf.
The brothers: By God, this is the best idea. Let's order
food from the restaurant, then we fix tea, and after that we'll sleep until the rain stops.
