CAIRO - Hossam el-Badri, the Enppi technical coach, has expressed his satisfaction with his team's drawing against Burundi's Lydia Academic in the first leg of the African Confederation Cup round of 32 on Saturday in Burundi. "The coaching staff are satisfied with the way the team played and with grabbing one point," el-Badri said after the game. Thanks to a blunder by Enppi's goalkeeper Ali Lotfi, Lydia Academic of Burundi went ahead, but an equaliser from midfielder Adel Moustafa saved the day for the Petroleum team. "The draw was a fair result; we played well and controlled most of the game," el-Badri added. The ex-Al-Ahly technical coach explained that the coaching staff are now preparing for the second-leg game on April 8 in Cairo. Hussein Amin, Enppi general coach, praised the players' performance and persistence after that dreadful goalkeeping mistake. "The players did not give up, piling on the pressure until Moustafa equalised," stressed Amin, who is hopeful that his team will progress to the round of 16.
