Egypt Olympic coach names 30-man squad for training camp
Hany Ramzy announces players for camp as part of Olympic qualifying tournament preparations

Olympic team coach Hany Ramzy has named 30 players to attend a closed ten-day training camp beginning on 8 November. The team will also play two friendlies against Senegal on 11 and 14 November as part of their preparations for the African 2012 Olympic Games qualifiers in Morocco.
“The Olympic technical staff will later announce a 21-player squad to play in the African qualifiers for 2012 London games,” read a statement on the Egyptian FA's website.
Egypt's Olympic team, which hasn't qualified for the Olympic Games since 1992, have been drawn in Group A of the eight-team African qualifying tournament alongside the Ivory Coast, South Africa and Gabon.
The winners will qualify directly for the London games. The runners up in the two groups will face each other for the remaining place.
The losing team in the runners up playoff game will still have a chance to qualify, as they will face an Asian representative in a two-legged tie, and the winner will go through to the games.
