BEIRUT - Lebanon announced on Monday a new government led by Prime Minister Najib Mikati nearly five months after he was named to form a cabinet. A government official announced the cabinet line-up at Baabda Palace after talks between President Michel Suleiman, Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. The country has been without a functioning government since January when Hezbollah and its allies toppled the Western-backed Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri's coalition.
