CAIRO - About 1,915 tourists of various nationalities arrived in the Egyptian coastal city of Alexandria on Saturday, the official Middle East News Agency reported. The tourists were on board the Star Princess that had sailed from Bermuda.Tourist officials in Alexandria say that they have organised a ‘perfect programme' for tourists. “Egypt lost around $2 billion in tourism revenues in the first quarter this year,” according to Egypt's Minister of Tourism Mounir Fakhri Abdel-Nour. The Egyptian tourism sector has been badly affected by the recent revolution. The number of tourists reached 535,000 in March, down from 1,300,000 in the same month last year.
