CAIRO - About 1,828 of Italian tourists arrived in Egypt on Saturday, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. The head of Safaga Airport Adel Emam said that two ships came from Ammanm carrying about 1828 tourists to Egypt. Adel added that the groups would start their programmes in the Read Sea resort city of Hurghada where they visit tourist sites and safari. Egypt's tourism industry, which is a key hard currency earner, has been in the doldrums due to recent political turmoil in the country.
