CAIRO – For the second day in a row, Egyptian Copts and Muslims protested on Monday outside the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in the Egyptian coastal city of Alexandria, denouncing the sectarian clashes that erupted on Saturday in Imbaba, Greater Cairo, which left 12 people dead and more than 200 injured, Al-Youm Al-Sabie reports. The protesters, who asserted that Egypt is for all and there is no difference between Muslims and Christians, also called on the Government to swiftly try the criminals responsible for the violence.
