CAIRO --Egypt's Illicit Gains Authority, affiliated to Ministry of Justice, iquestioned on Thursday former Editor-in Chief of Rose al-Youssef newspaper Abdullah Kamal and Ehab Safwat el-Sherif, the son of former speaker of Shura Council, the independent website Al-Youm Al-Sabe reported. Ehab is suspected of illegally amassing his wealth. The investigations are part of a sweeping crackdown unleashed by the Egyptian Government against corruption believed to have been rife during the Mubarak regime.
