CAIRO - An Egyptian presidential spokesman Sunday denied that President Hosni Mubarak had warned former US President George W. Bush that Iraq possessed biological weapons before a US-led invasion to the Arab country. "President Hsoni Mubarak, on the contrary, warned Bush and other US officials whom he met against invading Iraq, slamming the move as a gross violation of international legitimacy," Suleiman Awwad, a spokesman for the presidency, was quoted by the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) as saying. He added that Mubarak also invited George Bush, the father, to urge his son to cancel his plan to attack Iraq.
