Zamalek chief gets media ban

CAIRO, Oct 2, 2018 - Zamalek Club Chairman Mortada Mansour would be banned completely from appearing in the media, an official statement by the Supreme Council for Media Regulation said on Tuesday.
The Council took the decision after Mansour made some offensive remarks about the owners of the private TV channel Pyramids recently.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation, under the chairmanship of veteran journalist Makram Mohamed Ahmed, said that Mansour would be permanently banned from making any appearances on visual, audio, print and electronic media outlets.
