Basra airport not targeted with rockets or shells

BAGHDAD, Sept 28, 2018 (MENA) – An Iraqi security source said on Friday that no mortar shells or rockets have been launched against Basra International Airport, located near the US consulate in the city.
Alsumaria news channel quoted the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, as saying that the US consulate has taken precautionary measures, which he said have been explained as a probable attack on the airport.
