CAIRO, Sept 27, 2018(MENA) - The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) have signed a trade agreement enabling the UAE company to engage in the aviation fuel supply activity in Egypt. The deal falls within the framework of boosting the close cooperation ties between Egypt and the UAE in a vital domain, said a statement released by the Petroleum Ministry on Thursday. A strategic partnership between the two countries has been established in the field of marketing jet fuel, going in line with directives from leaderships in both countries to foster joint cooperation. The deal will contribute to attracting new clients to Cairo International Airport, a step that would help increase sales of the petroleum sector, bring in more dollar cash and attract further investments, said the statement. ENOC is a leading marketer and supplier of aviation fuel for commercial airlines, military and general aviation since 1995. Its current supply network covers 143 airports across 23 countries.
