Staff report: CAIRO, Sept 23, 2018 - The Egyptian Exchange indexes posted collective gains during Sunday's trading, backed by purchases by Egyptian institutions and investment funds, and selloffs by Arab and foreign investors. The market capital gained LE8.4 billion to hit LE788.5 billion. The EGX30 benchmark index went up by 1.26 per cent to close at 14,261.25 points. The broader EGX70 index of the leading small and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.74 per cent to 687.92 points. The all-embracing EGX100 index rose 0.88 per cent to close at 1,755.53 points.
