CAIRO, Sept 7, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian State Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar discussed with a delegation from the Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC), the diesel engine manufacturer, joint cooperation to meet the needs of the Egyptian railway sector, mainly in providing locomotive engines. During the meeting, both sides tackled a proposed executive plan meant to consolidate partnership between the Military Production Ministry and ABC, as well as localizing the advanced locomotives manufacturing technology in Egypt, Assar said on Friday. Assar pointed out that his ministry seeks to address the needs of local, Arab and African markets in the railways field. Assar said that the meeting aims to build on his July's visit to Germany, where he along with Transport Minister Hisham Arafat got acquainted with the manufacturing capacities of the Bombardier company, which is specialized in manufacturing railways locomotives as well as ABC, which is specialized in manufacturing locomotives engines.
