ADEN, August 18, 2018 (MENA) - The Yemeni army conducted on Saturday a wide-scale military operation in Qanya and Fadha districts in al Bayda governorate, local sources said. The army forces were backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition fighter jets, Al Arabiya news channel quoted the sources as saying. The Arab alliance has also carried out more than eight air raids against Houthi sites in Qanya, they said, noting that Houthi vehicles and military equipment were destroyed as a result. Meanwhile, Sky News channel said Yemeni resistance troops, backed by the Arab coalition air force, started a large offensive against Houthi militias in Hodeidah governorate.
