By Amira Sayed The Embassy of Mexico in Egypt is to organise two concerts to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the bilateral relations between Mexico and Egypt. The concerts are held in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID). The popular Mexican Band "Ensemble Ikal " will perform Thursday, August 9,at the Opera of Alexandria (Darwish Theatre), and on the 11th of August at the Cairo Citadel. The Ensemble will perform musical pieces from the Mexican traditional folklore presenting them in a renovated and rich musical approach on the basis of the original and cheerful spirit of the Mexican folklore. In both concerts, Ikal Ensemble will perform renowned songs, such as: La llorona, Nayla, Arráncame la vida, Unmundoraro, Perfume de gardenias, among others.
