Army role praised

CAIRO, Aug 8, 2018 - The Minister of Defence and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki, met on Wednesday the commanders of the Second Field Army units stationed in North Sinai. During the meeting, General Zaki, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, saluted the army forces for their outstanding role in combatting terrorism and maintaining the nation's security and the safety of its citizens. Gen Zaki praised the high capabilities and efficiency of the officers and soldiers and their efforts to reach the highest levels of preparedness for any combat mission. Gen Zaki also conveyed to them the appreciation of President Sisi and the Egyptian people for their heroic acts in Sinai that contributed to uprooting terrorism and gradually restoring life back to normal in Northern and Central Sinai.
