CAIRO, August 3, 2018 (MENA) - The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), during its meeting under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, agreed on contracting to implement six projects as part of the second phase of partnership projects with the private sector. In a statement by the Housing Ministry on Friday, Madbouli said the projects will be implemented on an area of 2,363 feddans, with total investments amounting to LE 179 billion. The six projects will create about 400,000 direct and indirect jobs, he added. As for the idea of establishing partnership between the NUCA and real estate development companies, Madbouli said that the idea depends on allocating a plot of land to a leading real estate development company. The authority's role will be offering the company payment facilities in return for a share in the residential units and service facilities, he added.
