CAIRO, July 24, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at the New Administrative Capital Tuesday to inaugurate a number of mega electricity projects across Egypt. Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki received Sisi upon arrival at the venue of the inauguration ceremony. Sisi is set to open three huge power plants, the most advanced worldwide, in the New Administrative Capital, Beni Sweif and Borolos. Implemented by Siemens, the plants should produce a total of 14,400 megawatts, adding 50 percent to the current national electricity network. Sisi will also inaugurate a wind power generation station, Gabal el Zeit, the biggest worldwide.
