CAIRO, July 6, 2018 (MENA) – Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat discussed with Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr means of fostering cooperation between the two ministries. The meeting witnessed an agreement on work plans and joint projects for technological development within the framework of the government's efforts to improve an environment that supports businesses and investment, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said in a statement on Friday. The communications minister said the coming stage will witness bilateral cooperation with the investment ministry through several projects, notably those related to mechanizing all services provided to investors. Talaat noted that he and the investment minister agreed to hold periodic meetings between officials from the two ministries to follow up work progress in the projects. Meanwhile, Nasr underscored the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Communications in mechanization projects in light of their importance in improving investment climate. She added that the mechanization projects can improve Egypt's ranking in international reports in addition to their role in combating corruption and bureaucracy.
