CAIRO, June 29, 2018 (MENA) – Egypt's Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad held an expanded meeting with South Sinai Governor Khaled Foda to discuss the preparations for holding the The UN Biodiversity Conference (14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity - COP 14) in Sharm El-Sheikh. Fouad reviewed the coordination for holding one of the most significant international events on the sidelines of the conference the 6th world sustainability forum on November 23-24. The meeting's participants discussed the latest developmental works in the South Sinai's natural reserves, such as Ras Muhammad, and its affiliated infrastructure. Foda pointed out that South Sinai was ready to provide all the necessary facilities for holding the international conference, to be held under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
