PORT SAID, Egypt, June 20 , 2018(MENA)- A Port Said court decided during a session Wednesday under counselor Samy Abdel Rahim to delay to July 22 the retrial of 47 operatives of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group including the group leader Mohamed Badie. The defendants are charged with committing acts of incitement, violence and murder in a case known in the media as Arab police station incidents in Port Said in 2013. The Court of Cassation had revoked in May verdicts ranging between harsh imprisonment and life sentences for the defendants and ordered their retrial. In August 2015, the Port Said Criminal Court handed down life sentences against MB leaders Badie, Mohamed El Beltagui and Safwat Hegazy over incitement to storm the Arab police station to kill policemen.
